HerHackathon: 42 female coders take to the starting line
Women in the tech world? Rather the exception. This makes formats that network and empower female coders all the more important. Take the HerHackathon at Mannheim Castle from July 7 to 9: around 200 women from all over the world work in teams, solve programming tasks and exchange ideas. Students Eunsol and Anouk compete for the 42 - and win second place!

Double degree: 42 and HHN make common cause
Close to practice, innovative learning, truly passionate coding - many things are different at 42. But there is no official university degree. Until now: 42 Heilbronn has entered into a cooperation with Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHN) that includes completion of the core curriculum at 42 and a Bachelor's degree at HHN. The project is a milestone for the German educational landscape.

Of error devils and AI: 42 intern develops new solution
May 2023: Error message at camera manufacturer IDS. Several cameras in a large order of around 600 are defective. The error pattern: diffuse. How many are affected is still unclear. Time is of the essence: as many cameras as possible must be delivered to the customer within two weeks, and they must be free of defects. Tim - a student at 42 - develops a performance check. And the delivery leaves the factory in Obersulm on time.
